I would guess this is trying to mirror the closed aspect of Apple's OS as much as possible, but very frustrating to try to find the programs or settings you are looking for if you are a regular Linux user. I was looking for a Linux distro that imitated the look and feel of macOS fairly precisely while still maintaining regular Linux functionality.
